Biography

George Gunnesch-Luca studied Psychology in Timisoara, Romania and received his doctoral degree in 2016 at the Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. He is currently a research fellow in the same university at the Department of Organizational and Social Psychology and a fellow researcher and associate professor at the University of Bucharest. His main research interests are related to inter-individual, group related phenomena including group processes, group dynamics and overall group performance. He conducted research mainly on the performance outcomes of altruistic and extra-role behaviors within teams as well as on the role of deep-level diversity on units. Other interests include personality research as well as the outcomes of different personality traits on unit performance.
